DEBRIEF

Excellent chat with Carrie from Tobacco Factory Theatre about where we are going next with A Little Nonsense and Juncture Theatre. We love that woman! Lots to be getting on with, exciting things!

SOHO-A-GO-GO!

So we can go! Thursday 21st March we’ll be downstairs at the Soho Theatre for their Brighton Fringe 2013 Programme Press Launch. Ooo er...

06.03.13

A MEETING OF MINDS

Had our first cast de-brief after our Brewery invited audience viewing and ideas-are-a-flowing! Will we have time to fit it all in before May...? Watch this space. Oh, and we can’t do the launch party as our actors are otherwise engaged in another project in Bristol. That’s what happens when you work with incredibly talented people!

05.03.13

BRIGHTON FRINGE LAUNCH PARTY

Have been offered the opportunity to perform a snippet of A Little Nonsense at the Brighton Fringe Launch Party at the Soho Theatre. Fingers crossed we can do it!

NIP AND A PUNCH FOR THE FIRST OF THE MONTH

Time to get bums in gear and sort out what we want to do in regards to the next 9 months. Tour, longer runs. We think so.

28.02.13

FUNDING

Erg. Only just starting looking into this and already exhausted by it.

27.02.13

WHAT NOW?

Excellent chats with Mr Blake about where to go next and how we are going to fit our lives around this play for the foreseeable future. Got so many ideas and want to try them all. Also still getting emails etc of feedback! So glad that it has left you thinking!

26.02.13

GETTING EVERYTHING BACK TO NORMAL

Busy getting all of the set back where it belongs and having a little break from all the nonsense. But not for long we hope.

25.02.13

PRIVATE VIEW

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO CAME! It was jam packed and made for a great audience for Harry and Adam so thank you! Also thanks to those who were able to stay and give feedback (in the theatre and in the pub after) our heads are swimming with ideas. It’s all a little overwhelming. After a busy day comes much deserved sleep. We will keep you posted on our next stage.

24.02.13

NEARLY TIME

Fun day getting into the Brewery and making some sounds ‘n’ that. Very impressed everyone remembered it all. Lets see if we do after a nights sleep.

23.02.13

WE ARE THE MUSIC MAKERS AND WE ARE THE DREAMERS OF DREAMS

Back into the rehearsal room today, tomorrow and Monday to make some beautiful music with Oliver Hoare and Eleanor Yates. Excited to see what new notes we can come up with.

22.02.13

UPDATED AND RARING TO GO

Finally finished fiddling with the website so now we can concentrate on making some great theatre instead. Just listened to some of the music we will be working with over the next few days in rehearsal/devising before our show to an invited audience on the 25th Feb at the Brewery Theatre. Whoopeee!

21.02.13

NEXT STEP FOR A LITTLE NONSENSE

Meeting of minds around at the Humberstone home. Getting all giddy about our invited audience show at the Brewery and especially looking forward to working all things music with our Oliver Hoare and Eleanor Yates. Sweet sweet music...

WOWZERS TROUSERS!

Well, that has been a long time without and news here (*ahem* again) and it is not a bad excuse to say that we have just been SUPER busy! Applying for ACE grants for our new production Stuff and our residency at The Bike Shed Theatre, 4th-15th Feb. Really excited about that as we always have a great time in Exeter! Got a brand new wonderful producer Matthew Whittle on board. Hello Matt!

06.10.13

WHAT’S GOING ON?

Brighton, Brighton, Brighton. How we love you! Always have the best audiences. Super Q&A after the first night with some pretty tuned in students. Got the flyers n that done for Exeter already (we know it’s in February but nothing like getting things done ahead of time). Meetings this week about funding and other things like that for Stuff. Watch this space.

STUFF
Alas, we are not good at getting on this updating news thing. I’ll keep it brief. Exeter went great, audience and reviews loved and we are going to be heading back the Bike Shed in Feb 2014 to do a residency which means we run the show for over a week and develop a new show in the day times. Exciting ‘stuff’. I have highlighted the ‘stuff’ as at the moment that is what the show is about. We will let you know more as we develop it but we are really looking forward to getting our teeth sunk into something new! Juncture_Archive_files/ALN%20Poster%20Brighton%20Sept.pages

WELL WELL WELL
So, we haven’t been active enough on this news page... but we have been all over Twitter about everything we’ve been up to. It seems that is the best way to keep up to date. It’s what all the cool kids do anyway. A Little Nonsense did amazingly at the Brighton Fringe and now we are raring up for the Exeter Ignite Festival. Can’t wait! We are already planning the next project which will hopefully be happening in the Autumn and then the ACE application to take A Little Nonsense on tour. Exciting times in Juncture Towers.https://twitter.com/JunctureTheatrehttp://annagirvandirector.co.uk/www.annagirvandirector.co.uk/A_Little_Nonsense.htmlhttp://www.exeterignite.org.ukJuncture_Archive_files/ALN%20Poster%20Brighton%20Sept_1.pagesshapeimage_3_link_0shapeimage_3_link_1shapeimage_3_link_2

We’ve been all busy getting stuff sorted for Brighton Fringe (get your tickets direct from HERE) and now have our dates, times and venue for the Ignite Festival in Exeter. Whoop! Back into rehearsals next week and can’t wait to get back into it! Also got a new teaser video in the making so watch this space!http://www.upstairsatthreeandten.co.uk/sample/performances.php?eventId=3290:210http://www.igniteexeter.org.ukJuncture_Archive_files/ALN%20Poster%20Brighton%20Sept_2.pagesshapeimage_4_link_0shapeimage_4_link_1

Our wonderful Harry Humberstone has been working his socks off on FellSwoop’s new show, Ablutions for Bristol Old Vic/Bristol Ferment (check it out!!) and we have been down to London a couple of times for rehearsals and show a little bit of A Little Nonsense to the beautiful people at the Brighton Fringe 2013 press launch at the Soho Theatre. Great time had by all and some excellent shots taken by Page Turner Photography for the records. Cheers fellas! We are also happy to announce that the talented Jannah Warlow is going to become part of the team for the Brighton Fringe as our musical clown extrodinaire! “Genuinely faultless… An outstanding piece of theatre.”

“It’s rare to discover a show which succeeds in balancing genuine hilarity and powerful drama, but Juncture Theatre certainly managed it... A real gem of a show.”
